Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public broad access to many court records, but Juniata County uses Pennsylvania-specific court terms. The Court of Common Pleas is the general trial court. The Prothonotary handles civil and juvenile filing functions, while the Clerk of Courts handles criminal filings within the same local row office. Marriage licenses, wills, estates, and Orphans' Court filings route through the Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court. Traffic, summary, small civil, landlord-tenant, and preliminary criminal matters often start with Magisterial District Court 41-3-01 or 41-3-02. This site organizes those official channels by record type.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Juniata County, the 41st Judicial District, any Pennsylvania court, the Prothonotary, the Clerk of Courts, the Sheriff, Mifflin County Correctional Facility, or any state agency. There are real limits to what this site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Juniata County case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some Juniata County record pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the reference pages available. Third-party tools are not official Juniata County, Pennsylvania court, Prothonotary, Clerk of Courts, Sheriff, UJS, VINE, PAePay, or Register of Wills systems, and their results should be checked against the originating government office.
